December’s Proud to Serve award recipient is Lauren Tammaro, who joined the United States Airforce directly out of high school and served for several years. Now a teacher’s Aide in O’Fallon, Lauren has taken on several additional roles during the pandemic, including the delivery of meals to families who depend on schools for nutrition. Around the building, she has painted, tended to the garden, and refinished countertops while schools have been closed, testament to her humility and ceaselss dedication.
